About Me

Meet the Author

Mary L. Peers has had a life-long interest in mythology and dreams. She has studied pictorial symbolism, art, linguistics, and language, and is an award-winning author. Emily Swan and the Dream Pillow, juvenile fantasy and family adventure, is her second book. It received three honorable mentions from the 2025 Purple Dragonfly Book Awards, two honorable mentions from the 2025 Royal Dragonfly Book Awards, and was also awarded a Silver award from Literary Titan. Mary’s first book, The Wisdom of Wood, Volume 1 – Hazelnut, is based in Celtic/Christian mythology and also received a Silver award from Literary Titan.
